Dearly Beloathed

Osric is an assassin with a degenerative illness. Aurienne is a healer whose order despises his. He bribes her into treating him, and they solve a plague while insulting each other. The slowest of slow burns and one of the funniest.

Osric and Aurienne go after the people behind the plague, in a gaslamp Britain where their orders would kill them both for it. The feelings are finally out in the open, which helps nobody.
