The Place follows Cali Collins, a faery who expected university to be about exams and parties and instead gets a rivalry with a classmate, a love triangle with a pair of twins, and a demon ex who keeps trying to kidnap her. Then students begin going missing from the university, and Cali's strange dreams hint that she could be next. She and her friends have to work out what is taking people before it takes her.
