A woman drawn into the supernatural world finds herself entangled with creatures of immense power and darkness. What begins as attraction becomes obsession, and obsession becomes love. The paranormal world offers her freedom but demands everything in return.

Everything You Need to Know About Eldritch

A modern-day horror romance where an ordinary person stumbles into contact with something vast and incomprehensible, something that shouldn't exist in the rational world. Instead of running, they're drawn into it, discovering that cosmic horror and love aren't mutually exclusive. The book plays with reader expectations about what 'monster' means.

This book doesn't follow the usual paranormal romance template. It takes Lovecraftian ideas (cosmic horror, humanity's insignificance) and filters them through romance without softening what makes those concepts unsettling. The protagonist's slow acceptance of the impossible is handled with genuine character growth instead of instalove. The writing creates real dread without being overwrought.

Body horror, cosmic/existential dread, body transformation, psychological horror, violence.

The 'monster' is not evil or misunderstood, it's genuinely alien in ways that can't be simplified. The protagonist transforms physically to survive contact with it, losing humanity in exchange for understanding. Their ending together is not happily human, but it is happy in its own non-human way. They choose each other across a gulf of biology and consciousness that should make bonding impossible.

Readers comfortable with body horror and existential themes, plus paranormal romance fans looking for something genuinely weird instead of another vampire-with-six-pack story. If cosmic horror squicks you out, this isn't your book. If you've loved Gideon the Ninth or Mexican Gothic, this scratches a similar itch.

This is a standalone novel. No series planned, though the world could support one. Complete in itself.
