Huang's prose is clean and fast, you'll finish this in one sitting. The twist in the middle hits different.

Dark romance readers who get the appeal of a morally gray love interest. If you want spice (S3) and don't mind a possessive, obsessed hero, this is your book. *Not* for readers uncomfortable with financial power imbalances, control dynamics, or dubious consent vibes. Not for people who need a hero to be *good*, Alex is toxic, and the book knows it.
