Court
The fourth book brings ancient curses, political upheaval, and Grace's most daunting challenges yet as prophecy comes due. Relationships are tested to their breaking point as alliances crumble and forces converge. Magic, destiny, and sacrifice define this continuation.
Everything You Need to Know About Court
The war with Cyrus finally comes to a head. Grace and her friends race to save the other students of Katmere Academy and confront the ancient vampire king who's determined to conquer their world. No one survived the last battle unscathed. Flint is angry at everything. Jaxon is transforming into something different. The Circle is fractured. To stop Cyrus and survive, they have to hunt for a magical potion through a quest that turns into an epic tournament, think Hunger Games meets mythology, where alliances shift and the cost of victory is higher than anyone expected.
The action is relentless in the best way. This isn't a book that wastes time on filler, Wolff cuts straight to high-stakes conflict and character transformation. Hudson and Grace's relationship hits real emotional depth as they fight alongside each other. The tournament quest arc is genuinely thrilling, with creative challenges and unexpected allies (Isadora, a vampire, proves to be far more than she seems). The spice levels maintain intensity, and the character arcs for Flint, Jaxon, and Macy feel earned.
Intense violence including battle/war sequences, death of established characters, paranormal peril, magical combat, high emotional stakes. Sexual content (spice level present but not as heavy as previous books). No graphic sexual assault, but themes of sacrifice and loss.
Cyrus's primary threat is dealt with, but the war isn't entirely won, multiple factions remain at odds. Jaxon's transformation is permanent and unexpected (read for the full surprise). Hudson and Grace's relationship is solidified, but they still face external pressures. Multiple main characters are injured or altered in ways that change them. Isadora's role is revealed to be far more significant than initially believed. The ending sets up future conflict rather than resolving everything.
Only read if you've completed Crave, Cravings/Cruel, and Covet in order. This is the payoff book for readers who've been waiting for Cyrus to finally face real consequences. Fair warning: some threads remain unresolved, setting up a fifth book. If you hate cliffhangers, wait for book 5 to be released.
This is book 4 in the Crave series, following Crave, Cravings/Cruel, and Covet. It's the climax of the Cyrus conflict but not the final book, book 5 (Charm, later Cherish) comes next with additional subplots to resolve. Read all prior books to understand character relationships and world stakes.
