Book 4 in Rebecca Yarros's Empyrean series is coming after Onyx Storm, continuing Violet and Xaden's story as they deal with war, romance, and the ongoing mystery of what's happening in Basgiath and beyond. Like the previous books, it will balance flight school politics with larger battles and relationship stakes. Yarros has set up major cliffhangers and unresolved character arcs that Book 4 will need to address, suggesting a major escalation from what came before.
